On November 15, The Greenwall Foundation and NYU School of Global Public Health teamed up to host the 2022 William C. Stubing Memorial Lecture, Are Robots Racist? Rethinking Automation and Inequity in Healthcare. The Lecture featured Ruha Benjamin, PhD, Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University in conversation with WBUR’s Meghna Chakrabarti.

In September, The Greenwall Foundation hosted a panel discussion about the state of public trust in the FDA. The participants, which included four members of the Greenwall Faculty Scholars Program community and moderator, journalist Adam Feuerstein, discussed whether and how trust has been lost in the agency, and how it might be won back.

The Greenwall Foundation’s 2021 William C. Stubing Memorial Lecture, Confronting the Public Health and Ethical Challenges of COVID-19, drew more than 650 participants to an evening of discussion featuring the public health duo leading the fight against COVID-19, Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Christine Grady. The virtual Lecture was moderated by CNN’s Chief Medical Correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
