Andrew Peterson is an Assistant Professor in the Institute for Philosophy and Public Policy and Department of Philosophy at George Mason University. He is also a Guest Researcher in the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health. Previously, he was a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar in the Rotman Institute of Philosophy and the Brain and Mind Institute at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Dr. Peterson’s research centers on bioethics and the philosophy of neuroscience, with focus on the ethical treatment of patients with disorders of consciousness.
